TEHRAN – Iran football team defeated Tajikistan 1-0 in the 2022 CAFA U15 Championship on Tuesday.

Tania Jahanshahi scored Iran’s goal in the 43rd minute.

Iran had shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw against Uzbekistan on Sunday.

Uzbekistan won the title due a better goal difference than Iran.

The competition was held from In Dushanbe, Tajikistan from Oct. 21 to 25.
